For two days we wasted no minute in going round as much project location as possible, with these northern young stakeholders who were attracted here by the deafening peace and wave of developments that have made Akwa Ibom under Governor Udom Emmanuel, a model of good governance. Although we had gone to see several other investments and projects locations, yesterday's visit to Let's Rise Business/Office Complex, Dakkada Tower, left our guests speechless.
During their stay, they told reporters that they were here to interface with their fellow northerners, resident here, and to study the template used by the Akwa Ibom government, which has resulted in the peaceful coexistence of different people, and the establishments of several investment opportunities in the state.
"When we listened to Governor Udom Emmanuel's lecture on peace and unity of the nation at the Arewa House in Kaduna few weeks ago, and also watched the inauguration of the Maintain Peace Movement, we decided that we need to visit here and see things for ourselves. From what we have seen, this Governor is an asset to our country", they echoed.
Of a truth, anyone who genuinely loves #AkwaIbom state, will love Governor Udom Emmanuel and his vision to make the state a destination of choice in the Gulf of Guinea.
