Tension in Southeast State as Gunmen Kidnap Former Deputy Governor's Father
An 85-year-old traditional ruler of Ezi-Mbieri Autonomous Community in Imo state has been kidnapped by gunmen.
The kidnap victim is the father of the former deputy of the southeast state, Prince Eze Madumere.
The former deputy governor has confirmed the incident, adding that the kidnappers have also contacted the family.
He was reportedly abducted by gunmen after sporadic shootings on Friday morning, November 19.
