The Nto Ide - Ikot Amba bridge project in Obot Akara local government area, is another deliberate agendum of Governor Udom Emmanuel to ensure that under his watch, critical infrastructure are put up to connect communities and engender economic activities.
Less than Three kilometers from this location, the twin Nto Edino-Ekwearazu Road Bridges are located, yet it did not detail the Governor from embarking on more.
As I interacted with the residents of the communities, I could sense the relief and fulfilment on their faces that their 'Golgotha' is gradually turning into history.
The story of Obot Akara, cements the message that Mr Emmanuel is championing a Unity project that makes every part of the state a beneficiary of dividends of democracy at the same time.
Just like Engr. Samuel Inyang (Seyang) delivered on Nto Edino-Ekwearazu Road and Bridges, he is bound to deliver on this 60m span Bridge project.
