What do we need to do as WOVOV women worldwide ( women our voice our votes) to make our target of 50million WOVOV votes for the renewed hope agenda 2027 a reality and how do we incorporate our inclusion of more women in senior political positions in government at federal and state levels here are some of the ways l want to briefly summarise in this short message.
We need to have our mobilsers in our different local government areas of our 36 states across the Federation to arrange campaigning sessions with our different states local government coordinators at market places In front of churches, mosque, shopping malls etc and also distribute flyers/ leaflets to people during our campaigning sessions to let them know about the renewed hope agenda policies and encourage and let them know that good change takes time but nevertheless it is happening.
Do more door to door knocking mostly in rural areas as this is very important. Through this way, people who can not read can be supported on how to register and help them navigate the electorial process.
Social Media - bulk text messaging is another means that we will adopt in our campaigning procedures, including step by step guide and instructions on how to register and how our APC logo will look like on electoral voting slips and how to tick the slips so that their votes will be counted.
We will also collect in our data base phone numbers of our supporters (;WOVOV women worldwide) and send them regular text messages prior to election and on election day to remind them to go out and vote. Electorial officers of WOVOV will play very important roles they will register and include their phone numbers that WOVOV Worldwide will provide them with elecrorate to be able to call and be guided when having difficulties navigating the electoral process and get the support in areas they are not clear about.
Another way is to keep the objectives of what we are aiming to achieve in focus and avoid distractions. A lot of people will come with selfish, self-centered initiative for their own benefits of what they think we should do, but we will be focused on our plan on what our goal is to reach people and be not distracted or discourage
We must present our candidates in the right light. People in Nigeria will throw all blames in Nigeria at the foot of the president without for once considering that their state governors, chairmen and other political office holders in some of the state might just be the reason why the allocated resources given to their states are diverted and not used for infrastructures they are meant to be used for, we will print leaflets as a group to show federal government allocations to the different states we will be campaigning in this case the 36 states of the federation, this information will be those obtained since the inception of our President PBAT which we will give to voters that details our president achievements and accomplishment since coming into power so voters can make informed choice instead of throwing blames at the feet of our President and believe false promises of opposition.
These are a few strategies some other strategies will be kept close to our heart that opposition cannot copy.
