Ahead of the 2023 general elections,the leading contender for Ibesikpo Asutan state constituency seat under the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Lady Andino Mfon Robson on Friday 11th March consulted the entire PDP EXCOS, Delegates in Ibesikpo Asutan.
Speaking at the Consultative visit, The Director General of EkeminiAbasi2023 campaign organization, Hon. Elder. Ekong Udoeyop while presenting Lady.Robson to the Party,Thanked the party for the warm reception accorded the team. He described Lady Andino as an article of value whose antecedents has spoken well of her. Elder Ekong further pleaded with the party to give Andino the needed support expressing confidence of her ability to advance the course of Ibesikpo Asutan in the state House of assembly. He also assured them that the aspiration of Lady. Andino Robson is centered on capacity, accountability, Accessibility and Effective Representation.
Addressing the party, Lady.Andino robson said she came to formally intimate the party of her Aspiration to represent Ibesikpo Asutan in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly come 2023.
In her words, she has garnered lots of experience in the course of her active participation in Ibesikpo Asutan politics,Hence her believe to bring about the Representation that will have a direct impacts on the lives of the entire ibesikpo Asutan if given the opportunity.
"Iam here before you to formally notify the party of my readiness to Represent ibesikpo Asutan state constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of assembly come 2023.
"If given the mandate by God's Grace i will bring about a people oriented/effective Representation were all will be included,she added.
Andino further solicited for the party's unwavering support, saying with their support she will emerge victorious in her Aspiration.
Responding, the chapter Chairman of PDP ibesikpo Asutan, Pastor. Uwem Etim thanked Lady.Andino for deeming it fit to consult the party,delegates, praying God to bless her and her team.
The party Chairman assured Andino of the party's unwavering support towards her Aspiration.
"You have the support of the party; cos The party under my watch will provide a level playing ground for all in the selection process, he added.
Also Speaking, the former chapter woman leader of the Party, Mrs. Ime Orok who spoke unbehalf of the women described Andino as a peaceful being and a professional in politics who according to her will bridge the gap between the rich and the poor.
The ward Chairman of PDP ibesikpo ward2,Comrade.Nyakno Inyang Ekong who spoke for the Youths described Andino as a woman of valour who will bring to the fore dividends of governance for the betterment of Ibesikpo Asutan.
The State woman leader 2 of the PDP,Lady.Emem Ottohnsek Thanked Andino for the respect accorded the party, thereby promising that the party will give her Their full support.
Highpoint of the Consultation was the presentation of Andino for blessings by the party,delegates.
