The administration of Hon. Benjamin Osa’s Iredia, the Chairman of Uhunmwode Local Government Area, has continued to demonstrate visionary leadership and people centered governance. Since assuming office, Hon. Iredia has rolled out initiatives and completed impactful projects that align with the Renewed Hope Agenda of Uhunmwode Local Government, bringing practical transformation to the lives of the people across communities in Uhunmwode.
In a formative drive on his vision, Hon. Iredia reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to grassroots development, good governance, and the welfare of the people, stressing that every project and policy is tailored towards improving lives and restoring hope for our people.

The Oguedion, Ehor Development Project completed, bringing direct benefits to residents, elders and maintaining traditional heritage of our people.
International Tree Planting Exercise which aim to promote environmental protection and climate action in Uhunmwode Local Government Area. Construction of a Block of Six Classrooms at Azagba community Ongoing, and other schools maintenance across the local government, this also aim at strengthening the education sector in Uhunmwode Local Government Area for our parents and children.
Environmental Sanitation & Evacuation Exercises, at the Eyean, Ahor cattle market, Ehor market among others, this is a Continuous process which has been established at monthly Sanitation exercise, ensuring clean and healthy communities in Uhunmwode Local Government Area.
Grading of Roads and Urora road pillative among other notables roads that was transformed, as the Council target improving accessibility and rural connectivity. Agricultural Training at Youth House (1st Batch)Completed, the council made adequate moves equipping youths with modern agribusiness skills and financial assistance
Peace & Security Stakeholders Meetings at Ugoneki, Egbede ward, council Secretariat in a continuous stances, reinforcing peace, safety, and collaboration. Installation of Solar System in Council Secretariat Completed, ensuring uninterrupted power supply and promoting renewable energy.
Purchase of a 30-Seater Coaster Bus for Staff Welfare, completed, enhancing productivity and staff motivation, in a short while Uhunmwode council has recorded the highest number of workers in attendance and actively working. Free Medical Outreach in different zones across the local government area, the council Chairman continuous move in taking healthcare services to the grassroots.
Regular Monthly Security Meetings with Security Agencies, sustaining of security and protecting lives and property in Uhunmwode Local Government Area, Hon. Iredia has priorities people security mechanism to bring back our farmers across the local government
Hon. Iredia has consistently emphasized that development cannot thrive without peace and security, which is why his administration has invested heavily in security collaboration and community and oversight engagement
The Chairman also expressed gratitude to the people of Uhunmwode for their cooperation, support, and trust in his leadership, assuring that more life touching projects are in progress. He further urged residents to continue supporting the Executive Governor of Edo State, H.E SEN. MONDAY OKPEBHOLO and the APC Government policies and programs that seek to transform the local government area into a hub of peace, development, and opportunities for our people.
